Patrick Lambie (Sharks) – Concussed in Rd 12, likely back RD 14 but who knows with concussion these days!
Juan De Jongh (Stormers) – Available for Rd 14.
Jaco Kriel (Lions) – knee injury. Given an extra weeks rest to ensure he is 100%.
Liaki Moli (Sunwolves) – Concussion.
Malcom Jaer (Kings) – returned to full training this week from a knee injury.
Ruaan Lerm (Kings) – returned to full training this week from an ankle injury.
Schalk Ferreira (Kings) – returned to full training this week form a bicep injury.
Chris Cloete (Kings) – returning from concussion.
Luke Whitelock (Highlanders) – recovered from a calf injury.
Jack Dempsey (Waratahs) – Jack was supposed to be back last week but will likely return from the bench in rd 14.

Keegan Daniel (Sharks) – fractured forearm. Back in the picture on home turf.
Nicolas Sanchez (Jaguares) – “Suffered a spasm in the ischio-tibial left during training yesterday” – Translation… Ummmm Hamstring? Back this week
Ramiro Moyano (Jaguares) – AC jt sprain against the Sharks , the Argentinian papers say he is already in full contact training and could be back soon (Updated for Rd 13).

Highlanders
Liam squire – Fractured thumb. Out for 6 weeks, back after the international break. Could be fit for the start of the Lions series.

Hurricanes
Nehe Milner-Skudder – Fractured Metatarsals (injured Rd 3). Now running with a change of direction. Won’t play Rd 13 but is a maybe for Rd 14 onwards.
Matt Proctor – Remains sidelined with Concussion Symptoms.
Dane Coles – Concussion symptons and problem calf. Hoping to be back for clash against the Chiefs.
Michael Fatialofa – Having surgery for his dislocated knee cap. “May” return this year.
Reggie Goodes – Ongoing concussion symptoms – out for unknown time.
Callum Gibbins – Shoulder injury.

Crusaders
Digby Ioane – Re-aggravated his pinky finger injury now requiring an operation. Digby has said he was out for five weeks (back Rd 13) but his coach has said there is no timeframe on his recovery.
Kieran Read – Broken Thumb – had surgery after Rd10, normally 6weeks out.
Israel Dagg (Crusaders) – Patella injury sustained rd 3. Played club rugby in Rd12 so should be back for Rd 13. (UPDATE) Dagg has travelled to Suva but will be doing promotional work, he will return to play against the Rebels on May 27.

Blues
Rene Ranger – is still out with a sore ankle (updated rd 10).
Jerome Kaino – Out for 6 weeks from Rd 10. Meniscus tear going for surgery.

Andrew Kellaway – Ruled out for three to six weeks with facial fracture, expected back Rd Rd 12-14

Leslie Leulua’iali’i-Makin – TBA.
Tomas Cubelli – Patella Tendon, hoping to be back for the international break.
Scott Sio – Patella and medial ligament, facing ~2 months on the sideline from Rd 10.

Dane Haylet-Petty – Hamstring injury – Out for up to 10 weeks (Early July).
Ben McCalman – Refractured his Scapula (for the 3rd time) against the Kings. McCalman will miss at least two more games but hopes to be back in time to take on the Reds in Queensland on May 26.
Jermaine Ainsley – Dislocated elbow, probably season.
Kane Koteka – Returned to full training after concussion.
Marcel Brache – Concussion Rd 10

Steve Cummins – Concussion, return date TBC.
Jordy Reid – Stress fracture in the back. Out for up to 6 weeks from Rd 6

Stormers
Jean-Luc du Plessis – Is progressing well following a pelvic bone stress injury, hoping to get a game in the Super Sport Challenge in 2-3 weeks (updated before Rd 13).
Scarra Ntubeni – Back running after ruptured achillies last year
Steph de Wit – Fractured his ankle, the bone healing well after surgery.
Rynhardt Elstadt – Complete syndesmosis, to undergo surgery and will be out for 3 months.
Huw Jones – Torn hamstring, to undergo surgery.
Jacobus Janse van Rensburg – Torn a bicep muscle in Rd 10 and will be out for 4-6 weeks.
Kurt Coleman – Tore a deltoid ligament in his ankle, no news on return date but it won’t be before their Rd 12 bye.
Robert du Preez – Torn pectoral muscle, could undergo surgery which would rule him out for the season.

Lions
Dylan Smith – Shoulder operation – 4 months
Rohan Janse Van Rensburg – LCL & Posterolateral corner injury. Out for 12 weeks, Should be the season.
Jaco Van Der Walt – Dislocated foot, Hopefully back in 4 weeks (Rd 12)

Cheetahs
Nico Lee – Grade 2 ankle injury, sidelined for 4-6 weeks, back after the June break – Rd 15.
Paul Schoeman – Blood clots of the lungs. Unlikely to be back before the international window at best.

Kings
Waylon Murray – Hamstring injury, sent home from tour of Aus. Waiting on further scans for more news.
Michael Willemse – Appendix removed, back after the international break.

Bulls
John-Roy Jenkinson – Grade 2 hamstring injury. To miss at least 1 more week.
Handre Pollard – Ankle Injury, out for 8-10 weeks (late June).
Dries Swanepoel – Expected back Rd 13.
Jonny Kotze – Expected back Rd 10-11
Travis Ismaiel – Knee injury that will keep him out for six weeks, back after the international break.
Jacques Potgieter – High blood pressure for an unknown reason, being pulled from play until it has been looked into.

Emiliano Boffelli – Ruptured extensor tendon of his index finger. Cleared to train normally with the finger braced. Unclear if this will affect his chances of being picked.
Marcos Kremer – Concussion, going through the return to play protocols.

Taakaki Nakazuru – Went off 3 minutes in to the game after a big hit (Rd 9). No further news.
Takeshi Kizu  -Reported as injured, not travelling to Argentina. No other news available
