Ben Alexanders (Brumbies) – Returned from a minor knee injury off the bench.
Henry Speight (Brumbies) – Returned from his hamstring injury.
Tomas Cubelli (Brumbies) – Came back from his patella tendon off the bench.
Scott Sio (Brumbies) – Back from his knee injury.
Rob Simmons (Reds) – Returned from his AC joint injury to play at 6.
Andrew Kellaway (Waratahs) – returning from a face fracture. Came off the bench.
Michael Wells (Waratahs) – Recovered from a foot complaint to start at No. 8.
Jack Dempsey (Waratahs) – Made his comeback after the international break.
Jono Lance (Force) – Back from his broken hand via the bench.
Chance Peni (Force) – Back from his ruptured Groin, scored a good try.
Matt Philip (Force) – Played well on  his return from injury.
Damian De Allende (Stormers) – Started on his way back from injury.
Andisa Ntsila (Kings) – Sustained a shoulder injury in Rd 13. Played in Rd 16.
Lionel Cronje (Kings) – Fractured his Jaw during the week before Rd 14. Played in Rd 16.
Travis Ismaiel (Bulls) – Knee injury that will keep him out for six weeks, back after the international break.

Aidan Toua (Brumbies) – Ankle
Rory Arnold (Brumbies) – Came off with a left shoulder stinger, should play Rd 17.
Chris Alcock (Brumbies) – Large thigh cut, should play
Kyle Godwin (Brumbies) – Injured his MCL in his knee, awaiting scans but in doubt for finals.
Steve Cummins (Rebels) – Concussion.
Jerome Ainsley (Rebels) – Looked to have injured his knee.
Isi Naisarani (Force) – Looked relatively serious. Probably out for the season.
Heath Tessman (Force) – Knee injury
Bryce Hegarty (Waratahs) – Hamstring tear, in doubt for Rd 17.
Juan Manuel Leguizemon (Jaguares) – Concussion

Scott Higginbotham (Reds) – Missed the Italy test with a neck injury. 50/50 chance to play Rd 17.
Hendrik Tui (Reds) – Returned from international duties with shoulder and rib complaints. Won’t play Rd 16.
Samu Kerevi (Reds) – Low grade ankle Syndesmosis, a maybe for Rd 17.
Christian Lealifano (Brumbies) – Hamstring Strain, a maybe for Rd 17.
Matt Hodgson (Force) – Limped off with a left calf injury. Cleared for Rd 17.
Augustine Pulu (Blues) – Rested for Rd15 to recover from niggling injuries.
Blake Gibson (Blues) – Rested for Rd15 to recover from niggling injuries.
Matt Duffie (Blues) – Rested for Rd15 to recover from niggling injuries.

Matt Proctor (Hurricanes) – Played off the bench for the Hurricanes development side in Rd 15.
Wes Goosen (Hurricanes) – Seems to have recovered from his shoulder injury to play off the bench for Rd 16.
Ricky Riccitelli (Hurricanes) – Suffered concussion in Rd 15. Should be back.
Liam squire (Highlanders) – Cleared for his fractured thumb.
Dan Pryor (Highlanders) – Played in their warm up match last week.
Dillon Hunt (Highlanders) – Glute injury ruled him out of Rd 15. Played in the warm up game.
Wilhelm van der Sluys (Kings) – suffered a concussion, progressing well but in doubt for Rd 16.
Ruaan Lerm (Kings) – returned to full training last week from an ankle injury.
Robbie Coetzee (Lions) – 5 week ban for kneeing Cloete, should be back Rd 17.
Juan de Jongh (Stormers) – Concussion. Cleared for Rd 17.
Sikhumbuzo Notshe (Stomers) – Concussion cleared for Rd 17.
Lukhanyo Am (Sharks) – Fractured cheek bone, should be back for Rd 17.
Mahlatse “Chiliboy” Ralepelle (Sharks) – Irritated a neck injury that he sustained in Springsboks camp. No news on timeframes yet but should play Rd 15 after the break.
Lwazi Mvovo (Sharks) – Back for Rd 17.

Highlanders
Dan Pryor – Getting more confidence on his knee and had come through club games recently (Updated before Rd 15).
Ben Smith – Suffering from vertigo, will miss Rd 17.
Matt Faddes – Broken Hand out of Rd 17 at least.

Hurricanes
Michael Fatialofa – Having surgery for his dislocated knee cap. “May” return this year.
Reggie Goodes – Ongoing concussion symptoms – out for unknown time.
Dane Coles – Concussion symptoms and problem calf. Now in extreme doubt for Rd 16.
Ben May – Has a “Slight Shoulder problem”. No other news.

Chiefs
Toni Pulu – “Done his patella” (we assume a dislocation), out for the season
Taleni Seu – Fractured his arm during the week. Out for the season.
Sam McNicol – out for the season with concussion.

Crusaders
Pete Samu – Ankle injury,  could still come back this season at some point.
Ryan Crotty – Hamstring tear, out of the 2nd Lions test, no word on super rugby yet. Ruled out of Rd 17.

Blues
Jerome Kaino – Out for 6 weeks from Rd 10. Meniscus tear going for surgery. Will Play Rd 17.
Sonny-Bill Williams – His 4 week suspension will rule him out of the rest of Super Rugby.

AUSTRALIA
Waratahs
Nick Phipps – Ankle syndesmosis injury, out of the internationals. Targeting a return for Rd 17.
Reece Robinson – Finger injury, out for the season.
Will Skelton – Fractured arm – done for the year.

Brumbies
Leslie Leulua’iali’i-Makin – TBA.

Reds
Lukhan Tui – Had an arthroscopy on his knee. Probably out for the season.
Campbell Magnay – Concussion Rd 13.

Force
Jermaine Ainsley – Dislocated elbow, probably season.
Kane Koteka – Returned to full training after concussion.
Angus Cottrell – could be considered for Rd 17 against the Waratahs after returning to club rugby.
Ben McCalman – Refractured his Scapula (for the 3rd time) against the Kings. Ruled out of the international window. Suffered yet another injury setback and didn’t play Rd 16.

Rebels
Sean McMahon – Dislocated his wrist. Has suffered an injury set back and won’t be back this season.
Dominic Day – Out for the season
Jordy Reid – Stress fracture in the back. Out for up to 6 weeks from Rd 6
Sam Jefferies – Ankle, indefinite.
Harley Fox – Ankle 10-12 weeks.
Semisi Tupou – Knee, 3-4 weeks.
Cruz Ah-Nau – Knee, 3-4 weeks.
Jack Maddocks – Forearm injury.
Tim Metcher – Foot, 2-4 weeks.
Sefa Naivalu – Syndesmosis injury, expected out for 6-7 weeks which will rule him out for the season.

Sharks
Pat Lambie – Concussion, has now been ruled out for the rest of the year.

Stormers
Jean-Luc du Plessis – Is progressing well following a pelvic bone stress injury, hoping to get a game in the Super Sport Challenge in 2-3 weeks (updated before Rd 13).
Scarra Ntubeni – Back running after ruptured achillies last year
Steph de Wit – Fractured his ankle, the bone healing well after surgery.
Rynhardt Elstadt – Complete syndesmosis, to undergo surgery and will be out for 3 months.
Huw Jones – Torn hamstring, to undergo surgery.
Jacobus Janse van Rensburg – Torn a bicep muscle in Rd 10 and will be out for 4-6 weeks.
Robert du Preez – Torn pectoral muscle, could undergo surgery which would rule him out for the season.
Shaun Treeby – Issued a three week suspension following a dangerous tackle, back for the finals.
Dewaldt Duvenage – Calf injury, expected back for the quarter final
SP Marais – Knee injury, out for Rd 17.
Kobus van Dyk – Knee injury, back for finals
Oli Kebble – Groin injury back for finals
Ali Vermaak – Calf injury, back for finals.

Lions
Dylan Smith – Shoulder operation – 4 months
Rohan Janse Van Rensburg – LCL & Posterolateral corner injury. Out for 12 weeks, Should be the season.
Jaco Van Der Walt – Dislocated foot, Hopefully back in 4 weeks (Rd 12)
Warren Whiteley – Out for 6-8 weeks with a torn ligament in his pelvis.

Cheetahs
Nico Lee – Grade 2 ankle injury, sidelined for 4-6 weeks, back after the June break – Rd 15.
Paul Schoeman – Blood clots of the lungs. Unlikely to be back before the international window at best.
Francois Venter – Hamstring tear in Rd 13
Shaun Venter – Ankle sprain, out for 4-6 weeks, likely back for Rd 17.
Torsten van Jaarsveld – Neck injury playing for Namibia, out for 6-8 weeks. Likely gone for the season.

Kings
Waylon Murray – Hamstring injury, sent home from tour of Aus. Waiting on further scans for more news.
Michael Willemse – Appendix removed, back after the international break.
Alshaun Bock – Bicep tear, consulting a specialist this week so it sounds serious injured Rd14.
Ntabeni Dukisa – AC joint injury, waiting on X-rays after Rd14.

Bulls
John-Roy Jenkinson – Grade 2 hamstring injury. To miss at least 1 more week.
Handre Pollard – Ankle Injury still causing problems. Will see a specialist this week.
Dries Swanepoel – Expected back Rd 13.
Jonny Kotze – Expected back Rd 10-11
Jacques Potgieter – High blood pressure for an unknown reason, being pulled from play until it has been looked into.
Hanro Liebenberg – Ankle injury, out for 6 weeks, This would have him fit for Rd 16 against the Kings.
Jannes Kirsten – Concussions out for 2 weeks. Likely back Rd 16.
Jacobie Adriaanse – Concussion, out for 6 weeks!  Likely back Rd 16.
Lood de Jager – Out with a back complaint for Rd 17.
Trevor Nyakane – Has been struggling with a wrist injury of late. Will not play Rd 17.

Jaguares
Emiliano Boffelli – Ruptured extensor tendon of his index finger. Cleared to train normally with the finger braced. Unclear if this will affect his chances of being picked.
Marcos Kremer – Concussion, going through the return to play protocols.
Matías Alemanno – Injured and won’t tour Australia.

Sunwolves
Taakaki Nakazuru – Went off 3 minutes in to the game after a big hit (Rd 9). No further news.
Takeshi Kizu  -Reported as injured, not travelling to Argentina. No other news available
Heiichiro ito  – stretchered off after a scrum- looks like neck
Hayden Cripps – Right knee injury
Jamie-Jerry Taulagi – Red card – Banned for 5 weeks, Can return to play after June 10.
Shota Horie – Injured in Rd 13
